Valerie A Pumford

Chair

Valerie graduated as a Registered General Nurse from Edinburgh Royal Infirmary and Registered Midwife from Glasgow Royal Maternity Hospital. She specialised in Intensive care with a keen interest in head injuries.

Using her nursing qualifications and experience Valerie joined the Pharmaceutical Industry and managed a number of heath care projects across the UK.

After several years in the Pharmaceutical arena Valerie set up her own business in Scotland, delivering nursing and homecare services to a wide variety of clients. Valerie’s passion is to ensure a personalised quality service is delivered to the highest possible standard.

After the successful sale of her company Valerie has concentrated on family life and works as a freelance health care consultant.

She enjoys travel, hillwalking, golf, tennis and is a keen Beekeeper.
