Peter O'Hagan

Peter spent his working life within the NHS, training as a General and Mental Health Nurse and working for a number of years as a Community Psychiatric Nurse.

On coming to Scotland in 1985, he worked within Human Resources and served as the Director of Human Resources in both NHS Forth Valley and NHS Argyll and Clyde. During this time, he studied for his MSc in Personnel Management at Strathclyde University and is a Fellow of the Institute of Personnel Management.

During his working life, Peter served on numerous committees and boards and was Chair of the Scottish Pensions Consultative Group and Forth Valley Education and Business Partnership.

Peter decided to leave the NHS in 2001 and since than he has been working as an independent HR consultant undertaking assignments in the NHS and voluntary sectors. He is appointed as a Lay Member for the Employment Tribunal (Scotland) services and undertakes works for the Institute of Healthcare Managers as a Manager Development Network Facilitator

Peter is married to Solveigh and has two grown up daughters.
